Windows of houses broken as stun grenade thrown in İstanbul

A massive explosion took place in front of a café in İstanbul’s Gaziosmanpasa district on late Monday, which damaged windows of some nearby houses.

According to the eyewitnesses, a group of unknown assailants fired the bomb and quickly escaped the scene at around 11: 30 p.m. The explosion led to panic among the residents of the neighborhood. Police units were dispatched to the scene and determined that the bomb was a stun grenade. The windows of some houses were broken as a result of the incident.

No one was injured or killed in the incident. Police launched an investigation into the incident.
