Twin blasts at Nigerian bus terminal kills 71

ABUJA (CIHAN)- At least seventy- one people have been killed and 12 were injured in twin blasts that occurred at a bus terminal on the outskirts of Nigerian capital city of Abuja on Monday.

According to eyewitnesses, two bombs were detonated at the bus station during the rush hours in the morning while people were about to board on busses to go to work in the city center.

Spokesman of Nigerian National Emergency Management Agency Manzo Erzikel reported that the blasts were conducted at 7 a.m. by local time.

Despite no one claimed the responsibility for the attack yet, experts say that most probably the attack was carried out by Nigerian radical religious militant group known as Boko Haram.
