Turkmen President welcomed in Ankara with official ceremony

ANKARA: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan welcomed his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov at the Presidential Palace in Ankara on Tuesday with an official ceremony.

Turkmen President was met by cavalries at the entrance of the palace and was accompanied to the ceremony site. After performing national anthems of the both countries, leaders together greeted the guard of honor and introduced their delegations to each other. Later on, Erdogan and Berdimuhamedov moved into the palace to hold tete-a-tete and bilateral meetings.

Following the meetings, the presidents are expected to sign agreements in existence of the press members and hold a joint press conference.
