Turkish PM starts visit to Azerbaijan

Baku: Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has arrived in Azerbaijan on a two-day official visit.

At the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the Turkish PM was welcomed by Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Ali Ahmadov, Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov and Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismail Alper Coskun.

The Turkish delegation includes Head of the National Intelligence Organization Hakan Fidan, Under Secretary of the Foreign Ministry Feridun Sinirlioglu, Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Faruk Çelik, Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Simsek and Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Berat Albayrak.

During the two-day visit, Davutoglu will meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Artur Rasizade to discuss the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as regional and international issues.

He is also scheduled to give a lecture at ADA University on Dec.4
