Turkish military says four ISIL militants captured along Syria border

Four militants from the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) were captured in the Turkish border province of Kilis as they were trying to cross into Turkey from Syria, the military said on Wednesday. A statement released by the General Staff said troops from the 1st Border Regiment Command captured and”four terroristsand” from ISIL as they were trying to illegally cross into Turkey. The statement said a judicial investigation was launched into the incident. Thousands of Syrian refugees fleeing armed clashes between a Syrian Kurdish fighting force and ISIL in the Syrian border town of Tal Abyad have entered Turkey since the Turkish authorities permitted their entry on Sunday. A group of ISIL militants were also captured along the border on Monday.
