Turkish man collects paper trash to help cataract patients in Africa

ISTANBUL: A 69-year-old man, living in Turkish western province of Izmit, has been collecting paper trash for 55 years to protect nature and send money gained from the collection to charity organization for cataract surgeries in the Africa.

Halit Tekce told Cihan news agency that he has been collaborating with Kimse Yok Mu charity organization for the last seven years with the money he gained through paper trash collection. With the money, Tekce contributed to many cataract surgeries performed in the Afrika for needy people.
