Turkish FM Cavusoglu arrives in Azerbaijan

Following Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC) visit, newly elected Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, arrived in Azerbaijani capital city of Baku to hold some official talks on Thursday.

At his first foreign official visit after elected as FM, Cavusoglu began his visit with placing wreath on the tomb of Haydar Aliyev, the decedent leader of Azerbaijan. Cavusoglu later visited Jan. 20 ‘Martyrs’ Lane and left carnations. After going to the Turkish martyrdom, Cavusoglu placed wreath on here and a moment of silence was observed. Cavusoglu signed martyrdom’ diary on scene.

Cavusoglu is expected to meet with President İlham Aliyev, Prime Minister Artur Rasizade and his counterpart Elmar Memmedyarov during his visit.
