Turkish Day Ball held in New York

NEW YORK: Turkish Day Ball was held by the Federation of Turkish American Associations (TADF) prior to 34th Turkish Day Parade in New York on Saturday.

The event was held at Sheraton Hotel at Times Square with a huge participation. Guests enjoyed with performance by Ottoman Janissary Band.

Republican People’s Party (CHP) deputy Kamer Genc, Turkey’s UN Ambassador Halit Cevik, Turkish Ambassador to New York Ertan Yalcin and TADF President Atilla Pak and Secretary General of Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States Ramil Hasanov.

Delivering a speech, Cevik highlighted importance of Turkish Day Parade saying that Turkish people should maintain unity and solidarity irrespective of religious belief and political views.
