Turkish ambassador: Bilateral cooperation with Azerbaijan not dependent on any third country

Baku: Turkey-Azerbaijan bilateral cooperation, which is developing in every sphere, is not dependent on any third country, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismayil Alper Coskun said answering a question on prospects of Turkey-Azerbaijan relations after the Russian sanctions, APA reported.

According to him, Turkey’s cooperation with Azerbaijan in the political, cultural, social, economic, and military areas is not dependent on the economies of other countries.

“Ultimately, Turkey and Azerbaijan as two fraternal countries intend to come together to unite the potential in Azerbaijan with that in Turkey, ensure the welfare of our peoples, and contribute to the world culture and global peace. I do not want to comment on this matter in terms of Russia. However, we welcome any progress likely to contribute to Azerbaijan’s economy,” said the ambassador.
