10-18 in the southern city of AntalyaFeature films to be selected to the festival’s national competition, often a prestigious launch pad for local films and directors, will be vying for Golden Orange statuettes that come with varying cash prizes that in total amount to TL 640,000, the DoIan news agency reported.The cash prize for the competition’s top prize, the Golden Orange for Best Film, is TL 350,000, while the winner of the Best Director prize gets TL 75,000.

The festival also has a Best First Film prize for debut features, which comes with a cash prize of TL 125,000.The jury is expected to announce its selection before Sept.
