Special chair produced for Pope before visit to Bosnia

Preparations are ongoing in Sarajevo, capital city of Bosnia-Herzegovina, for a visit paid by Pope Francis at the weekend. On Tuesday, a special production chair was transported to the Olympic Stadium where Pope Francis will celebrate Holy Mass.

Carpenter Salem Hayderovats stated that they made the chair out of best quality walnut tree in 75 days. A churchman from Zavidovici Municipality, Miro Beslic said Hayderovats offered to make a special chair after it was announced that Pope Francis will visit Bosnia. When they gave permission from the religious authorities, Hayderovats began to make chair on which historical symbols of Bosnian cardinals are curved, added Beslic.

Apart from the chair a cross weighing a ton will be taken to the stadium for the Holy Mass.
