Solar eclipse to be observed across the world

ISTANBUL: A total and partial lunar eclipse will be observed in separate parts of the world on Friday.

In Turkey, the moon’s shadow will fall at 10: 53 a.m. and will disappear at 1:02 p.m. The partial eclipse will be seen in all parts of Turkey and the moon will cover around 40 percent of Sun’s layer.

Total lunar eclipse will be visible in Svalbard and the Faeroe Islands and it will get dark completely in that region. Europe, North Africa and the Middle East will observe partial lunar eclipse.

People are suggested not to look from the east to follow eclipse. Looking the sun directly can lead to permanent damage in eyes as retina is damaged.
