KARABUK: Snowfall turns Safranbolu’s historical mansions into a picturesque magnificence

Snowfall in northwestern Turkish province of Karabuk’s Safranbolu district covered the historical houses with white blanket, which added gorgeous beauty to these magnificent Ottoman mansions.

Safronbolu, located in highly rich historical area with its famous Ottoman mansions also was included UNESCO’s world heritage list in 1994, witnessed a spring snowfall, welcomed highly enthusiastically cheer by tourists who visiting the district. While the white snow layer turns the mansions into magical houses, many tourists took this beautiful landscape to their cams.

Nejdet Aksoy, Safranbolu Mayor said that our district not only beautiful during the snowfall but also beautiful every seasons of the year. “We prepared a master plan which ensures four seasons tourism in our district. Thanks to this plan Safranbolu attract tourists every season in a year,” added Aksoy.

According to the forecasts that, snowfall, will lasted until Saturday in the district.
