Snow falls in Russian cities in mid-summer

MOSKOVA (CIHAN)- As the temperatures dropped to 3 degree Celsius in in Russia’s South Urals, it snowed in the cities of Chelyabinsk and Yaketerinburg, which caused a great astonishment during summer.

The snow reached a depth of 5-10 centimeters in higher parts of the cities, a situation which was observed around 50 years ago.

Authorities warned public about possible floods next week when the temperatures go to normal.
