Six killed in landmine blast in India

YENI DELHI (CIHAN)- At least six members of a polling team, including four policemen, were killed when suspected Maoists blew up the bus carrying them in Dumka district in Jharkhand, Thursday evening. The blast, which triggered when they were returning after conducting polls, also left more than 10 people injured. The accident took place near Asnajore village in the Shikaripara police station of Jharkhand’s Dumka district.
The injured people are undergoing treatment.

Dumka was among the four parliamentary constituencies in Jharkhand which went to polls on Thursday. The other three constituencies were Rajmahal, Godda and Dhanbad.
