Six children die in fire at Quran School in Diyarbakir

A building fire at Quran School in the Turkish province of Diyarbakir resulted in death of six children.

The fire occurred in a building where the Koran courses were held.

Three more children were poisoned by smoke during the fire. The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.

Sabahattin Altun, Muhammed Bingol , Serhat Sancar, Sahin Kahraman, Suat Cankaya and Nur Muhammed Bayka, all aged between 10 and 13 years, died in the blaze.
