Security meeting on Syria held in Ankara

Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu chaired a security meeting focused on developments in Syria on Sunday.

The 40-minute meeting which began at 1 p.m. was attended by top Turkish security officials, including Chief of General Staff Gen. Hulusi Akar, Foreign Minister Feridun Sinirlioglu, Interior Minister Selami Altinok, Gendarmerie Commander Gen. Galip Mendi and National Intelligence Organization (MİT) Undersecretary Hakan Fidan.

No statement was made after the meeting.
