Saddam’s grandchild stages a protest in front of US consulate

ISTANBUL (CIHAN)- Iraq’s ousted President Saddam Hussein’s grandchild Massoud Uday Saddam Hussein and a group accompanying him staged a protest in front of the United States Consulate in Istanbul on Monday.

Speaking to press members, Uday Saddam Hussein stated that today is his deceased grandfather’s birthday and as “AdImlar” (Steps) magazine they decided to celebrate it in front of U.S. Consulate General.

“We are here to celebrate the 77th birthday of martyred Saddam Hussein who buried Zionist -Crusader armies into the desert.” Hussein said.

Protestors chanted slogans in front of the consulate general building and carried banners written in Arabic, Turkish and English languages.

Saddam’s grandchild also blamed Iraq’s current Prime Minister Nouri al Maliki for being as a traitor and claimed that he has opened the dam shutters to drown some parts of the country to threaten the nation ahead of elections.
