Russian Ulyanovsk province intends to extend bilateral cooperation with Azerbaijan

Baku: Agshin Rafigoglu; Today, the delegation led by governor of Ulyanovsk province in Russia Sergei Morozov has met with the Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev.

APA-Economics reports that Mustafayev said Azerbaijan attaches importance to extension of cooperation with Russia, including its federal subjects. He noted that political relations between Azerbaijan and Russia reached partnership level.

The minister said that Azerbaijan and Russia have signed more than 30 economic, 160 different contracts so far. Several documents will be agreed: “Operation of intergovernmental commission is also significant in the extension of the relations. Currently, 570 Russian companies operate in Azerbaijan”.

Mustafayev noted that Russia invested $628.4 mln in our main capital recent years: “Azerbaijan invested over $1 bln in Russia’s economy. Azerbaijan cooperates with Russia, its federal subjects, including Ulyanovsk province”.

In turn, Morozov stressed both countries have great potential.
