Rotary Clubs to host Charity Winter Fair 2014

Rotary Clubs of Baku will organize a charity event – Charity Winter Fair 2014 on December 7. Rotary Clubs are organizing the Charity Winter Fair 2014, with the active support of Park Bulvar Mall and Park Inn Hotel Radisson.

The different Charity Winter Fair will offer unique handicrafts, lotteries, and quizzes to the visitors. The visitors, especially kids, will take a journey to a unique Christmas experience.

Children will have the chance to decorate their cupcakes, create their customized ornaments, take a picture with Santa, deliver their letters to him, play games, have their face painted and lots of other fun in special corners designed for them.

The purpose of this year’s event is to make the local community more sensitive towards local NGOs – UAFA, SOS village, and Hope Heaven orphanage that will be presented at the event and to contribute to charity works and enhance their volunteerism spirit.

The Rotary and Rotaract Clubs have invited various Charity Organizations whose representatives will participate in the event along with the selective representatives of some business organizations. This event, beside its fundraising purpose, aims also to raise public awareness of the community about the existence of so many and diversified goodwill organizations.

A raffle, which is also an important part of each bazaar will make visitors happy with many great gifts from our sponsors. The whole proceedings achieved from the Rotary Clubs’ Winter’s Fair will be spent for charity projects.

The Rotary Clubs of Baku have hosted many seasonal events in Baku and other charity events every year. The four Clubs (Rotary Club of Baku International, BakuKhazar Rotary Club, Rotaract Club of Baku and Rotaract Club of Baku International) are known for their constant service to the Azerbaijani community.

The Winter Fair will be held at the ground floor of Park Bulvar Mall from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. local time. It’s open to public and donations are welcomed.
