Restoration of peace in Caucasus depends on cooperation between Turkey, Azerbaijan, says PM

Baku: The restoration of peace in the Caucasus depends on the cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said.

He made the remarks on Dec.3 during a press conference following the meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku.

Turkey will support Azerbaijan until Azerbaijan’s lands are liberated, said Davutoglu. “Problems are solved on the basis of mutual respect for borders. There are difficulties arising from the occupation of 20 percent of Azerbaijani territory.”

Turkey will continue its cooperation with Azerbaijan in the defense industry, Davutoglu added.
