Police detain 22 in narcotic operation in western Turkey

BURSA: A total of 22 people were detained by the security forces due to their involvement in drug selling as part of an operation in the western province of Bursa on Thursday.

The operation was conducted in the early hours of Thursday. Units from anti-smuggling and organized crime units raided houses of some suspects after an investigation which lasted four months. With the help of a sniffer dog called Alfa, police found large amount of heroin, bonsai and drugs in the houses.

At the end of the operation, police detained 22 people, including 10 children and took them to the court.
