Nursultan Nazarbayev: “Azerbaijan is considering the possibility of cooperation with the EEU”

Moscow: Iran, Azerbaijan, India and Mongolia are considering the possibility of cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union and Turkey has expressed a desire to conclude a trade agreement with the EEU, said Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.

“At this stage, Turkey could be the next potential partner. Turkish President Recep Tayyib Erdogan, visiting Kazakhstan, expressed his wish to conclude a trade agreement with the Eurasian Union. Well, it is necessary to study,” said Nazarbayev

He noted that the Iranian Foreign Minister, who visited Kazakhstan, has also expressed his interest in the prospects of cooperation with the Eurasian Union. “There are others, for example, India, Mongolia, and Azerbaijan.” – said Nazarbayev.
