New passenger buses brought to Baku in connection with first European Games to be put into use from tomorrow

Baku: The new passenger buses brought to Baku in connection with the first European Games to be held in Baku in 2015, will be put into use from tomorrow, deputy head of the Baku Regional Department of the Transport Ministry’s State Department for Transport Management Amrah Jafarov told APA-Economics.

For the present, 25 of 50 buses will be put into use in the route #65 (the 9th Microdistrict – Azneft Square).

“Such buses are brought to Baku for the first time. These buses have been supplied with air conditioner, camera, and computer system. The buses have been separated to special parts for children, old men and disabled persons. They have also been supplied with the special access ramps”, Jafarov said.

These buses have been leased for 5 years. One bus costs €150,000.

Other 150 buses will be brought in 2015.
