New Azerbaijani Party’s Youth Union holds 4th conference

Baku: Seymur Orujov was reappointed chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party’s Youth Union.

The New Azerbaijani Party’s Youth Union on Saturday held its 4th conference, which was joined by state and government officials and MPs, APA reported.

Chairman of the Youth Union Seymur Orujov said in his speech at the meeting that the conference took place on the eve of the first European Games and that Azerbaijan will hold the Games at a high level. Orujov said youth policy is a priority in Azerbaijan, adding that the New Azerbaijan Party, which comprises all strata of society, mostly consists of youth. He noted that the party has, according to the statistics for January 1, more than 250,000 young members, which roughly makes up 40 percent of all members. 58,000 of them work in the education area, 28,000 in the health area and other areas.

The Youth Union has 63 council members and 15 members of the Board of Directors. At the same time, Seymur Orujov was reappointed chairman of the New Azerbaijani Party’s Youth Union.
