Musavat Party withdraws from elections

Baku: Musavat Party has decided to withdraw from the parliamentary elections to be held on Nov.1, the party chairman Arif Hajili told reporters on Oct.28.

The party’s Central Election Headquarters is due to solve the issues arising from the decision.

Hajili said he hopes registered MP candidates from the Musavat Party will justify the party’s decision not to take part in the elections and will give up their participation in the elections.

He noted that the Musavat Party’s observers are registered at the Central Election Commission and the party will observe the elections, coordinating its work in this area with REAL and NIDA movements.
