Modi pays homage at Rajghat

YENI DELHI (CIHAN)- Ahead of taking oath as 15th Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi today visited Rajghat to pay homage to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. Along with his Council of Ministers, Modi will be sworn in at 6 pm at the Presidential Palace in New Delhi.

Dressed in all white, Modi later left for the residence of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He will be the second Prime Minister of BJP after Vajpayee.

On Sunday, Modi held a series of meetings with BJP president Rajnath Singh and other leaders through the day. Sources said he is unlikely to have more than 40 ministers in all, only 17 to 18 of them of cabinet rank and none older than 75.
