Minister closes Olympic pool for wife’s swimming lesson

Located in the Eryamanlar neighborhood of Ankara, the pool was closed for the ministerand#39s wifeand#39s personal use because she is veiled.

It was reported that after Fatma Ganduumlllanduumlce entered the facility, male personnel were asked not to be seen, and that the ministerand#39s wife received a private swimming lesson from a female instructor

Minister Ganduumlllanduumlce reportedly used the name of Minister of Youth and Sports Akif andCcedilaIatay KIlIandccedil, telling staff at the pool that KIlIandccedil had approved its closure.

The pool, which is only available to swimmers in Olympic training, was then closed to all.
