Magnitude 5.5 earthquake shakes Turkey’s Bingol

A magnitude 5.5 earthquake jolted southeastern province of Bingol on early Thursday.

According to data released by Bogazici University Kandilli Observatory & Seismology Institute, the epicenter of the quake was 0, 54 kilometer away from Acikguney village of Kigi district at 01: 27 a.m. The earthquake was felt in nearby provinces. No injuries and causalities have been reported.
