Los Vivancos, Krasnoyarsk ballet to perform in Bodrum

Russiaand’s Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet and the popular Spanish dance company Los Vivancos will be the special guests of this yearand’s Bodrum International Ballet Festival, set to mark its 13th edition next month in the southwestern holiday resort town.
From July 18 through Aug. 1, the historic Bodrum Castle will be hosting five classical and modern ballet productions from Turkey and abroad in seven performances, according to the festivaland’s website.
The Antalya and izmir state ballet companies will open the festival with a triple bill that combines three early 20th-century pieces — and”The Firebirdand” and and”The Rite of Springand” by Igor Stravinsky and Maurice Raveland’s and”Bolero.and”
The Istanbul State Opera and Ballet will stage a modern ballet production called and”GandOkkuiaiiand” (Rainbow), set to music by composers John Adams, Alva Noto and Ryuichi Sakamoto, on July 21.
The Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet will perform its ballet rendition of Bizetand’s and”Carmenand” two nights in a row, on July 24 and 25.
The Ankara State Opera and Ballet will present its 2015 production and”Hamlet,and” with a score by 20th-century Georgian composer Revaz Gabichvadze, on July 28.
The seven Vivanco brothers will close the program with their show and”Best of Los Vivancos,and” also to be staged twice, on July 31 and Aug. 1.
