Lions to be crowned new-look league expected next season

With the completion of the Spor Toto Super League on Saturday and the Lions to be crowned the undisputed kings at Tandurk Telekom Arena on Sunday, teams that failed to reach their targets are planning their strategies to improve for next season.
The high-achievers, though, are pondering what slight improvements to make without spoiling an already-winning formula.
It is impossible to say what exactly teams will do so soon after the final curtain drops but for many teams big changes should be brewing on the horizon, while some like reigning champion Galatasaray will need to focusing on preserving what they have.
Galatasaray is first on the list of high-achievers. Not only did the Lions earn a historic fourth star on their logo for earning their 20th championship title — and do it ahead of rivals Fenerbahandce, no less — they also battled a sluggish start to the season to earn the championship with a game in hand, which means the cluband’s final match with andcaykur Rizespor is nothing more than a victory lap.
Starting off the year with Italian coach Cesare Prandelli, Galatasaray failed to make its mark on the Super League or European competition. Galatasarayand’s board did not give him long. He was replaced with Hamza Hamzaoilu in the first half of the season, and it was all uphill from there.
Another change the Lions recently made was in the election of new Chairman Dursun andOzbek mere days before Galatasaray was crowned champion.
h2If itand’s not brokeh2 The Lions need to try to keep Uruguay keeper Fernando Muslera, who saved them throughout the season, but critically kept six clean slates in matches leading up to the championship. Netherlands playmaker Wesley Sneijder was always there to pluck a goal from a difficult long-shot position to turn a match around. The cluband’s surprise talent was Yasin andOztekin, who went from being Prandelliand’s benchwarmer to an indispensable midfielder in Hamzaoiluand’s lineup over the course of the season.
These talents should be preserved for next year, but even now the Lionsand’ work is not finished. The remaining loose end is the tie with Bursaspor in the final match of the Ziraat Turkish Cup on Wednesday.
Bursa has proven to be a bit of a dark horse in the past few years, having won its first championship in 2009-2010. Its Brazilian striker Fernandao has established himself as the seasonand’s most prolific scorer or and”goal king.and” With a plethora of goals in the final stretch, he recently overcame slumping Beiiktaiand’s Senegalese Demba Ba for the honor.
