Lebanon’s first prime minister after Gaddafi to visit Azerbaijan

Baku: Mubariz Aslanov; Abdurrahim El-Keib, running the government in Libya after Gaddafi was overthrown, will visit Baku.

Press service of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora told APA that Abdurrahim El-Keib, who is a professor of electrical engineering, has worked in the United States for many years. He was appointed Prime Minister of Libya by the country’s National Transitional Council on October 31, 2011.

Member of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, Abdurrahim El-Keib will take part in projects of the Center and attend the 2nd Global Shared Societies Forum.

The 2nd Global Shared Societies Forum will be held by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, Club of Madrid and Club of Rome under the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, within the joint cooperation of the World Science and Culture Academy, the UN, Library of Alexandria and other organizations. The forum to be attended by former leaders of 45 countries, public and political figures will focus on important issues such as coverage, economic supports of open societies, settlement of conflicts in the difficult conditions.
