Leading artists’ depictions of hands on display in Ankara

“Ellerin Buyusu” (The Magic of Hands), an exhibition that features depictions of hands by some of the world’s leading artists, including Pablo Picasso, Auguste Rodin, Salvador Dali, Eugène Delacroix and Le Corbusier, is currently on display in the Turkish capital. andldquoEllerin Banduumlyanduumlsanduumlandrdquo (The Magic of Hands), an exhibition that features depictions of hands by some of the worldand#39s leading artists, including Pablo Picasso, Auguste Rodin, Salvador Dali, Eugandegravene Delacroix and Le Corbusier, is currently on display in the Turkish capital.

The traveling exhibition, which was previously presented at a private art gallery in Izmir in February, is on display until March 31 at the andCcedilankaya Municipalityand#39s Contemporary Arts Center in the KavaklIdere neighborhood.

A total of 160 pieces, 15 of which are sculptures, are on display in the exhibition, which opened on March 17.

Put together from the private collection of a German collector, the exhibition also features work by renowned Turkish artists, including Abidin Dino, Devrim Erbil, Ergin Inan, Mehmet Ganduumlleryanduumlz, Balkan Naci Islimyeli, Komet, Fikret Otyam, Bedri Rahmi EyanduumlboIlu and Eren EyanduumlboIlu, according to an announcement posted last week on the centerand#39s Facebook page.

Following its Ankara stint, the exhibition is set to travel to Istanbul and Antalya
