Kidnapped French journalists found on Syrian border hands tied

IANLIURFA (CIHAN)- Four French journalists who were allegedly abducted by al-Qaeda linked Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) members in Syria 10 months ago, were found by Turkish military forces near Turkey’s Syrian border on Saturday.

Sources reports that journalists hands were tied when they were found by Turkish gendarmerie officers.

After brief official procedures and medical check, journalists Nicolas Henin, Pierre Torres, Eduardo Elias and Didier François were taken delivered to the French Embassy representatives. Reportedly journalists sent to the French Consulate in southeastern province of Gaziantep. So far no group has stood out for the release of the hostages.
