Kazakh, Russian presidents to discuss Ukrainian crisis

Baku: The presidents of Russian and Kazakhstan today are due to discuss the Ukrainian crisis in Moscow, said Kremlin foreign policy aide Yury Ushakov, APA reports.

He said the presidents will also present to each other the ratification of an agreement on cooperation and good neighborliness in the 21st century.

“During the meeting, the sides will discuss several issues including the situation in Ukraine. This is quite rational. Because Mr Nazarbayev has just come back from Kiev, and also Vladimir Putin will telephone the presidents of France, Germany, and Ukraine tonight,” said Yury Ushakov.

The Russian and Kazakh presidents will also discuss issues of the Eurasian Union.

Note that, while N. Nazarbayev was in Kiev, Ukraine and Kazakhstan signed several agreements on rebuilding military-technical cooperation as well as deliveries of Kazakh coal to Ukraine.
