Kazakh films shown at Istanbul’s Fatih University

A selection of Turkish-dubbed films from Kazakh directors are being screened at Istanbul’s Fatih University as part of the Kazakhstan Film Days.

“Bayterek,” which follows the story of a neglected schoolboy, and “Kiz Jibek,” a silver screen adaptation of the Kazakh legend “The Sky of My Childhood,” which follows the life of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, are among the offerings at the film days, which will continue until Friday.

The film days aim at contributing to the cultural and diplomatic relations between Turkey and Kazakhstan. For further information and the entire program, visit www.fatih.edu.tr.
