Kanaltandurk reporter Ertan Banduyandukahiska, while speaking about the illegal appointment of a government-backed trustee board to the Koza ipek Group, burst into tears during a live broadcast, saying, and”Our news was not made of lies.and”
Starting from the early morning hours of Tuesday, employees of the newspapers and television stations under the ipek Koza corporation began to protest the government move in front of the Kanaltandurk building. In his broadcast, Banduyandukahiska asked employees of the media outlets their views on the recent developments. Kanaltandurk News Director Erkan Akkui directed the microphone to young reporter Ertan Banduyandukahiska. Finding it difficult to speak, Banduyandukahiska noted that the most important principle he learned while working in his department was to not tell lies. He said: and”The most important thing I was taught here was never to lie. Not to turn out news based on lies. No matter what you do, you donand’t tell lies. We learned to always present the news as it was, and never to sign off on a story that we knew wasnand’t true.and”
Noting that some of his fellow journalists in Turkey did not show the same sensitivity these days, Banduyandukahiska went on: and”I am embarrassed to say that some of my colleagues have become accustomed to telling pure liesandhellip But we never did this.and”
Speaking further, Akkui noted that he hoped those and”responsible for people holding signs in protest in front of the building, and” would be embarrassed by what they had done.
