Georgian PM to visit Ukraine

Baku: Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili plans to pay an official visit to Ukraine in the near future, said David Kereselidze, Georgian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, APA reports citing Interfax.

He said the date of the visit is unknown for now as the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has not yet been approved, adding that all actual issues in relations between the two countries will be discussed during the visit.

Earlier at the first meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko proposed some amendments to the laws that allow attracting foreign citizens to work at the government. The Ukrainian leadership is planning to invite former Prosecutor General of Georgia Zurab Adeishvili to the post of Interior Minister and former Deputy Interior Minister of Georgia Eka Zquladze to the post of Deputy Interior Minister.
