Former Moldovan president: “Policy conducted by Russia means our end”

Baku: “If the Ukrainian crisis is not prevented, this crisis will cause political and social explosions”, said the former Moldovan President Petru Lucinschi at his speech in the second Global Shared Societies Forum organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, the Club of Madrid, with support of the Azerbaijan State Committee for Work with Diaspora and with joint cooperation of World Academy of Art and Sciences, UN, Library of Alexandria,and other organizations.

Lucinschi noted that the tension between Ukraine and Russia is a signal to the counries like Moldova: “We require the UN to carry out concretion between two principles – territorial integrity of countries and self-determination. Otherwise, many states will be established in our region, as well as in the world and we’ll witness bloody conflicts. The policy conducted by Russia is an obvious case for this and commencement. I acknowledge that I and my country are dissatisfied with this. This means our end”.
