Five burn to death in traffic accident in Antalya

ANTALYA (CIHAN)- Five people burned to death when their car caught fire after crashing into a truck that was waiting at a red light in the southern province of Antalya on Thursday.

The incident reportedly took place on the Antalya-Kemer highway at 2:20 a.m. on Thursday.

When the luxury automobile, driven by Emrah Bulbul, crashed into the truck, a huge fireball engulfed both vehicles. All five passengers in the car were killed. Truck driver Kalip Asker survived the incident, though he was injured.

The Antalya-Kemer highway was closed to traffic for five hours and the bodies of the five victims were taken to Akdeniz University’s Council of Forensic Medicine (ATK). The police have started an investigation into the fatal accident.
