Baku: Sudan fully supports Azerbaijan’s position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, because our position is just and in line with international law, Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov said on March 18 during a press conference following his meeting with the Sudanese counterpart, APA reports.
During the meeting, we discussed ways to further enhance relations between the two countries, Mammadyarov said.
“We cooperate and support each other within the UN, OIC and other international organizations,” the FM noted.
Mammadyarov said that they also exchanged views on strengthening economic ties.
“Sudan is an oil- and gold-rich country. Three or four projects proposed by Sudan are being discussed. These projects envisage avoidance of double taxation between the two countries, investment promotion and formation,” Mammadyarov underlined.
The FM, referring to his upcoming visit, said it will further deepen ties between the two countries.
