DemirtaI predicts HDP will become third party in elections

Peopleandrsquos Democratic Party (HDP) leader Selahattin Demirtai has said his party is likely to emerge as the third party in Sundayandrsquos parliamentary elections.
and”All data [we have] suggest that we will be the third party in Parliament with regards to the number of deputies, and” Demirtai said during a radio interview on Friday, claiming that his party would receive more seats in Parliament than it got in the June 7 elections.
In the June 7 parliamentary election, the pro-Kurdish HDP passed the election threshold for the first time in its history when it won 13 percent of votes and 80 seats in Parliament, causing the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) to lose the parliamentary majority it had enjoyed since 2002, when it first took power.
Demirtai said the whole Turkey is now aware of the fact that a Turkey which is not governed by a single party rule by the AK Party will be more stable. and”If we want peace, stability and confidence to persist in our country, we should see that the term of coalition governments is about to begin and we should not fear that, and” Demirtai said.
The HDP leader added that his party is open to coalition talks with all parties in Parliament to take responsibility and solve the countryandrsquos problems.
