Chairman of International Bank of Azerbaijan resigns

Baku: President of the International Bank of Azerbaijan Jahangir Hajiyev has resigned.

At the meeting held on March 18, the Supervisory Board of the International Bank of Azerbaijan provided Hajiyev’s request to release him from his post for health reasons, International Bank of Azerbaijan told APA.

First deputy chairman Emil Mustafayev has been appointed as an interim chairman of the bank.

During the meeting, the Ministry of Finance, representing the government of Azerbaijan in the bank, expressed its readiness to support fully the future development of the IBA, which is the largest bank in the country.
