Bank robbery in Istanbul caught on tape

ISTANBUL: A man wearing hooded coat, medical mask and sunglasses robbed a bank in Sisli district of Istanbul on Thursday. The incident was caught on tape by security cameras of the bank second-by-second.

The man busted a branch of Turkey’s one famous banks with a gun in downtown Istanbul. Robber first neutralized the security guard at the door then headed towards the cash desk and escaped the scene after taking 29 thousand Euros, 19 thousand US Dollars and 87 thousand Turkish Liras by force from the bank attendant.

But robber’s happiness did not last long. Arriving to the scene in a short time, security forces determined appearance of the robber in a short time and motorized police teams captured him in a taxi with the money he robbed after few hours.
