Azerbaijani, Turkish FMs hold bilateral meeting

Baku: As part of the trilateral meeting of Azerbaijani, Georgian, and Turkish foreign ministers in Kars, Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu.

At the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction with the level of the development of Azerbaijani-Turkish strategic relations built upon brotherhood and friendship, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told APA.

The sides noted the trilateral meeting held among Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey contributes to regional cooperation, stability and prosperity, stressing the importance of Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) and Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway projects.

The sides then exchanged views on the events happening in the region and around the world.
