Azerbaijani, Turkish armed forces hold live-fire training

Baku: A live-fire training was conducted as part of the joint tactical exercises of the Azerbaijani and Turkish armed forces which started on May 12 according to the agreement on military cooperation, the defense ministry said on Thursday.

During the exercises the combat readiness of all types of troops participating in the exercises, efficiency and coordination of the execution of tasks, organization of interaction, fulfillment of provision during combat operations, efficient activity of the personnel, weaponry and military hardware were checked.

In accordance with the scenery of the exercises, the participating forces and supportive units executed the tasks successfully.

Infantry and tank units, missile and artillery hardware, anti-aircraft complexes, helicopters destroyed all the targets, conducting a live firing with high accuracy.

The exercises continue.
