Azerbaijani President: Georgia and Azerbaijan have close cooperation in all areas

“The joint declaration signed today sets out the prospects for further development of our bilateral relations. The union and brotherhood of our nations are the base of our relationship. The declaration reflects definite cooperation in all spheres,” said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at a press conference after the one-on-one meeting with President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili and the expanded meeting of delegation of both countries.

The Head of the State noted that Azerbaijan and Georgia have close cooperation in all areas. “We are also cooperating within international organizations. We support continuously each other in all areas, especially in the territorial integrity of our countries. I am sure that both countries will support each other’s position in the future as well. Definite phrases are reflected in the declaration. All the conflicts must find its solution within territorial integrity, sovereignty, decisions and resolutions of the international organizations.
