Azerbaijani President attends opening of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Hospital

Baku: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Tuesday attended the opening of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Hospital.

APA reports that the head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the hospital.

President was told that, the eight-storey hospital has the most advanced medical equipment. After the major overhaul and reconstruction, the 300-bed hospital now has 14 inpatient units.

The hospital employs 130 doctors, 467 middle and junior medical staff. Two large audiences and 7 classrooms, a computer room, a meeting room for 200 people, a sports medical center and rooms for examinations have been created for students. It will be possible to conduct MRI and other necessary medical examinations at the hospital.

President Ilham Aliyev then met with the staff.
