Azerbaijani President attends Bakutel-2014 exhibition

Baku: “Bakutel-2014” XX Azerbaijan International telecommunication and information technologies exhibition has kicked off in Baku.

APA reports that the opening of the exhibition has been attended by officials, representatives of separate state and private organizations, diplomats, foreign guests.

President Ilham Aliyev also attended the opening of the exhibition. Head of the state reviewed the stands of local and foreign companies and familiarized with the demonstrated products and services.

It was informed that this year’s exhibition is attended by over 250 participants, including 40% permanent. The participants include leading ICT companies, Azerbaijan’s mobile operators, internet providers, system integrators and distributors of well-known brands.

The exhibition is also attended by delegations led by communication ministers of several countries.

Companies from Azerbaijan, Argentine, Germany, USA, Belarus, UAE, Canada, China, Estonia, Croatia, Finland, France, India, Iran, Israel, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Russia, Slovenia, Switzerland and Turkey are being represented in the exhibition.
