Azerbaijani man on traffic for 17 years to guide people cross road

BAKu (CIHAN)- A man has been working voluntarily for 17 years to help people cross the road in Azerbaijan.

Halid Musayev is called “traffic man” wakes up early every day and goes to pedestrian pass crossing his home. With a pole in his hand Musayev guide people while crossing the road in an effort to lessen frequentative traffic accidents in town of Surahani.

Speaking to Cihan news agency, Musayev said unlike the past hopefully no traffic accident has taken place at pedestrian crossing near his home since he began to help people.

Traffic man also teaches traffic rules to children voluntarily at the weekend.
